Damaged

These prints were designed on photoshop with pieces of some old prints I made a couple years ago. I had a lot of fun with this one, it was different than a lot of the stuff I was making this year, but I was pumped on the way they came out.

This one I was just playing around with some ideas for patches or maybe album artwork. I didn't really have a purpose, but hey, art is all about trying things out.

The text written inside the obscured face was a poem I wrote thinking about this piece with the idea of it being called "damaged"

“Damaged”
Time test me with tattered souls of hermits, widows and widowers
Hung like willows weeping inconsolable loneliness for the bottom dwellers
For those out of step with the world
Pushed to my knees I’ll learn how to crawl through the squall
Homeless with homes, directionless, motionless
While I dreamt in a deep well, wishing
Stuck forever
Damaged
